There’s no doubt about it, Grooby VR is one of the best trans VR porn sites. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but you’ll get to lose yourself in a 3D world with the hottest TS pornstars on the planet! Whether you choose the POV of the Male, trans or Voyeur that some scenes offer, you’re getting 4K videos that are so sharp, they could be mistaken for 5K. I used my Oculus Go because I wanted to be free of wires. Even though they don’t provide a specific file for it, it still looked fantastic when I downloaded the Oculus Rift version. Offering more tailored headset compatibility would be great, but it won’t impede you from having an amazing, immersive experience.
If you’ve ever watched trans porn, there’s a good chance it was a Grooby video and you didn’t even know it. The scenes put you in a sitting or standing position, so I knew using my Go was a good choice. Generally, wireless headsets are my go-to for porn. I don’t have to deal with wires hanging everywhere and it gives me the freedom to watch the scenes in any room of my house, plus it’s an affordable headset with some powerful specs that closely match some of the more expensive ones like the Quest or the PSVR.
I downloaded a couple of 4K videos, hit play and found myself on a big queen-sized bed with the beautiful redhead Shiri Allwood sitting on it too. Taking in my 180° surroundings, I looked around the room and at the Tgirl in front of me. With the video running at a smooth 60fps and high refresh rate, it not only gave it that 3D feel but ensured the latency was minimal, so I never got a headache, even if I spent hours watching. And with a wide FOV (field of view) and positional sound providing 3D audio, it made everything all the more real.
All 140+ movies stream in 4K too. I watched several and was happy to see that everything looked sharp and I never encountered any buffering issues – something that can happen when you stream in VR. And while other sites are trending toward 5K and 6K, the bitrates for these videos are over 40,000k, so despite their lower resolution, I didn’t feel I was losing out.
I loved the layout of GroobyVR. It’s clean and the thumbnails are big and bright. I had the chance to virtually fuck some smoking hot pornstars like Chanel Santini, Daisy Taylor and Venus Lux. I could even spy on trans couples from a voyeur perspective, or experience everything from the POV of a transgirl which was cool.
Compatibility wise, there are downloads for the Oculus Rift, PSVR, Gear VR and smartphones. Even though I was using an Oculus Go, I downloaded the Rift version as it closely resembles the specifications. If you’re using something like an Oculus Quest or an HTC Vive, I recommend downloading the Rift version too. In the future, I hope they add specific downloads to match the specs of other devices, but in the meantime, the workaround is fine.
If you’re new to VR, they have a helpful support page, and if you’re interested in meeting other like-minded fans, there’s an active forum and even a section of bonus photosets. Their models are very active on Reddit, where they often participate in AMA (ask me anything) sessions with fans. The membership is a little expensive, but I was more than happy to pay a premium for VR porn that’s not only high-end but also contributes to a company that continues to highlight trans performers in a positive and, of course, incredibly hot way. Grooby has been in this business for decades. It’s hard to achieve that kind of longevity unless you’re doing something right and there’s no question that they get a lot right.
